Created by the Deaf, for the Deaf

Jenile is a French and Emirati joint venture bringing accessibility technology to the UAE. It is led by Deaf innovators who know first-hand what is missing, and who build the solutions they needed themselves.

What we set out to solve

Everyday sounds keep people safe and connected. Most homes and buildings still do not share them with Deaf and hard-of-hearing people.

Missed sounds

Alarms, doorbells, a baby’s cry and other sound cues are easy to miss.

Spaces that leave people out

Homes, villas and public spaces lack basic accessibility and safety features.

Costly, complicated systems

Existing solutions are expensive and complex, and often need wiring and specialist installation.

Safety risks

Missing a fire alarm or an emergency alert is the most serious risk of all.

The right product for every need

Our mission is to offer the most suitable products for Deaf, hard-of-hearing and visually impaired people, and to make them affordable and easy to find.

  • Communication and safety for homes, villas and public spaces
  • Designed by Deaf innovators, around real daily life
  • A two-year warranty: a faulty product is replaced with a new one
  • Work with associations and institutions for universal accessibility
